Mission Clothing Donation FAQ

Do I need to sort my donations before dropping them off?

It’s best to separate clothing, books, and small household items before donating them to ensure they can be processed efficiently. Securely bagging items also helps keep them in good condition.

What happens to items that cannot be sold?

Items that cannot be resold through Value Village are responsibly recycled whenever possible to minimize waste. Unusable goods are diverted from landfills through various recycling programs.

Is there a weight or volume limit for home pickups?

There is no strict weight limit, but larger items such as furniture cannot be accepted. If you have multiple bags or boxes, ensure they are manageable for pickup staff.

Can I donate toys or baby items?

Yes, gently used toys, books, and small baby items are accepted as long as they are clean and in good condition. Larger baby gear like cribs, car seats, and strollers cannot be donated due to safety regulations.
