Do I need to wash or clean items before donating?
We ask that household donations be clean and ready for resale. Thoroughly cleaned items increase their value and help raise maximum funds for our programs.
Are items like pillows and stuffed animals accepted?
We accept pillows and stuffed animals if they’re clean, gently used, and in good condition. Items heavily stained, torn, or damaged cannot be accepted.
Can broken household items be donated if they’re easy to repair?
Please only donate fully functional household items, as we’re unable to repair broken goods. Items needing minor or major repairs should not be donated.
Is there a recommended way to package fragile household donations?
Yes, please carefully wrap fragile items in protective material and clearly label these packages as “fragile.” Secure packaging helps ensure safe transportation and handling.
Are office-related household items accepted?
We welcome small office items such as desk organizers, lamps, or decorative accessories in good condition. Larger items such as desks or office chairs are not accepted due to handling constraints.
