Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley is excited to introduce its new Executive Director, Adina Spivak.

With more than a dozen years of experience in the non-profit sector, Adina brings a wealth of knowledge and a versatile leadership style to BBBSFV. She is committed to the growth of our agency and continuing to build and foster relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community members.

Adina has worked in international and local contexts across various areas of philanthropy including social services, social justice, advocacy, health, education, environmental sustainability, women’s rights and international development. She is passionate about supporting donors in making meaningful contributions to causes that matter to them and contributing to the work of the sector to make society a more equitable place where everyone has the chance to reach their potential.

Originally from Toronto, Adina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. Outside of work, she loves yoga, drinking matcha and checking out local Farmers Markets.

Speaking of her incumbency, Adina says: “Everyone can relate to the benefits of mentorship. On a personal level, I certainly can. I am truly inspired by the dedication of the Board, staff and volunteers at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley and look forward to being part of a team lifting up deserving kids and holding them in hope.”

We encourage you to join us at our upcoming Autumn Sip & Social on Thursday, October 19th to help us welcome Adina to our team.
