We asked our mentors to thank their mentees by telling us what they love about mentoring and the impact their mentee has had on them.
One of our Big Brothers Zach has this to say:
“The best part of being a Big Brother is seeing my Little get so excited when I’m around and him appreciating having a role model to connect with. I really make an effort to be a positive influence in his life and although Colton doesn’t show a lot of emotion, I can tell that he sees me as an older brother. He doesn’t use a lot of spoken words to let me know how he feels but the recent birthday card that he made for me expressed so much gratitude and thoughtfulness about our friendship.”
